Overview
LIBRA Valves India Pvt. Ltd. manufactures high-performance industrial Globe Valves designed for flow regulation, throttling, and reliable shut-off.
Our Globe Valves are widely used in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power, and Water Treatment industries where precise flow control is required.
These valves operate through a linear motion mechanism, where the disc moves up and down to accurately regulate or stop the flow. Globe Valves are available in T-pattern, Y-pattern, and Angle design configurations to meet various service conditions.

- Coating: Epoxy, Polyurethane, or Zinc Phosphate coating for corrosion-resistance
Beyond Standards
LIBRA Valves’ Globe Valves are engineered to exceed global industry standards through superior design, precision machining, robust metallurgy, and stringent quality testing.
Designed in compliance with API 623 and BS 1873, our Globe Valves deliver reliable throttling, precise flow regulation, and long-term sealing integrity in demanding industrial environments.

Bolted Bonnet Design
- Proven and widely used construction suitable for low to high-pressure applications up to Class 1500.
- Flat gasket, spiral wound gasket, or ring-type joint (RTJ) sealing between body and bonnet ensuring reliable tightness.
- Available in T-Pattern and Y-Pattern for refined flow control performance.
- Ideal for applications requiring accurate throttling such as refineries, petrochemicals, chemical plants, cooling water lines, and utility services.
- Renewable seat rings (hard-faced with Stellite or equivalent) ensure long service life and easy maintenance.
- Backseat design facilitates stem packing replacement under line pressure (for OS&Y types).

Pressure Seal Bonnet Design
- Self-energizing pressure seal system where the internal pressure enhances the sealing force, providing superior tightness at high pressure.
- Suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature services such as
- Thermal power plants,
- Superheated & saturated steam lines,
- Boiler feed systems,
- Hydrocarbon and high-energy fluid pipelines.
- Designed for pressure classes 900, 1500, and 2500, where conventional bolted bonnets become bulkier and less efficient.
- Compact and lighter construction compared to traditional bolted bonnet designs, reducing installation space and improving operational efficiency.
- Optimized disc–stem construction reduces vibration and improves throttling stability under high differential pressure operation.

Features That Add Value
- Leak-Tight Shut-Off: Precision-machined seating surfaces ensure low leakage rates.
- Throttling Capability: Globe valve design naturally provides controlled and stable flow regulation.
- Long Packing Life: Fine-finished forged stems reduce friction and improve gland packing life.
- Wide Temperature Range: Suitable for approximately –29°C to +450°C (material-dependent).
- Actuator Compatibility: Mounting per ISO 5210 / ISO 5211 for easy integration with automation systems.
- Fire-Safe & Emission Compliant (Optional): API 607 / API 6FA, ISO 15848 & API 624 compliance available.

Certifications & Compliance
